Hello and welcome back to The Charming Bachelor! I’m your host, Nora Radberry, and today is Elimination day! The girls can feel it in the air, they don’t know what the challenge might entail, but they know that something is coming and by the end of the day one more of them will be gone.
Merida, after that very sad solo date try, decided that she should work a little more on her wellness and accepting that sometimes working out does have its benefits. She doesn’t look too happy that she was out of the solo competition that early in the game. Though, to be fair, it’s never great to be the first one out of anything.
Nick is doing his usual cooking, though for this morning, he’s decided to help give the girls an extra boost, and has made a pan seared tilapia. It does look delicious. Too bad I can’t sneak in and grab a plate.
He has become such a wonderful cook in these past couple weeks.
“I really like being able to cook for the girls. Since I can’t exactly help them out for their competitions, I feel like this si the one thing that I can actually do to help them.”
Well, he is just a great guy. Mulan, Jasmine, and Ariel all gathered to grab a plate and continue talking to him after the meal was over. Much as Jasmine has been sad about their fading love, she’s still really enjoyed Nick’s company.
After breakfast, it wasn’t long before we were calling the girls down for another painting challenge. The producers really enjoyed watching the painting challenge last time and thought it would be fun to surprise the girls with a second one.
Not all of the girls looked too thrilled about it though.
Jasmine especially almost walked away without competing, which we would like to state would have automatically put her down in the elimination chambers with Aurora and Cinderella.
Though, in the end, with a slightly late start, she did end up coming back to the competition.
Now, if you had told me Jasmine started later than everyone else, I would have pegged her as the one getting cut right off the bat. But her saving grace seemed to be that Elsa didn’t make sure to take care of all her needs before the competition.
The girls are told to have everything handled by noon, because there’s no pause button on the competition. Well, apparently our last remaining blonde didn’t listen and she bolted mid painting to go to the bathroom.
In her absence, both Merida and Mulan finished their paintings. And Jasmine worked just a little more furiously on hers with Elsa missing, hoping to get her painting finished before the Ice Queen returned.
And finished she was able to be! Jasmine finished her painting just as Elsa came back fro the bathroom. It was a little sad to watch the Princess come back to find that everyone else had not only finished, but also left the challenge area by the time she was back and ready to compete.
“I can’t help that I had to take care of business. It’s not my fault that the urge just hit. I can’t believe it cost me the competition though! I was working so hard too. And with Jasmine behind, I had thought that I’d be able to get in, and slip back before she ever came close to finishing…”
So sorry, Elsa, but that just wasn’t the case. She was shipped down to the elimination chamber with the other girls who were more than happy to welcome their new cell mate to her new home. Maybe we should invest in another video game system for the girls down there. It’s sure to be a little boring waiting for the next few weeks to pass.
Jasmine went from the competition to the easels in the movie room and started to paint furiously. It’s quite interesting what nearly coming in last will do to a Princess after an elimination challenge.
“I was almost eliminated. I refuse to allow that to happen again. I will stay in this competition no matter what it takes!”
Well, I don’t know about you, dear watchers, but I certainly love her enthusiasm and spunk.
With just down to four girls now: Mulan, Jasmine, Merida, and Ariel, the competition is heating up. And so is the love life our our ever growingly cute couple. The two were caught sharing a hug before bed the night of eliminations.

“I think it’s the sweetest thing that he showers me in flowers. They’re the perfect gift, if I do say so myself.” 
“I don’t know why she won’t tell me how it went, past ‘it was great’. She can share. Though, I guess it’s better than when Jasmine came home waving her date in all our faces. But I’m still curious!”
The next morning our girls got straight to doing what they love. Mulan hit the treadmill for her morning run.
And Jasmine and Elsa decided to take a swim this morning. The two seem to be starting to work out their differences, even though Jasmine for the most part has been ignoring the Prince.
Even going so far as to cook her own breakfast of grilled fruit instead of partake in the breakfast he normally makes in the mornings.
Meanwhile, Nick settled into the kitchen and chit chatted with Merida while making the girls pancakes. We haven’t seen them interact too much, so it was nice to see them getting a chance to talk.
Though, where there’s food, there’s more people. Once Ariel smelled breakfast, she made a beeline for it and grabbed a plate.
After the girls were fed, and everyone had a chance to settle things, we took our hopefuls and Prince out somewhere we figured they’d have a world of fun. An Arcade. What’s better then playing games and getting to use computers they don’t have at home.
After their first game, they switched games to one where Nick could join them. It’s actually very cute to watch the girls interact with him.
Once they were tired of video games, Ariel and Nick decided that the jukebox in the corner shouldn’t go to waste and started dancing. Jasmine didn’t seem to want to join them in dancing, but did sit close enough to talk to Ariel while our little mermaid danced.
The date ended with Ariel and Nick wandering to the park next door to grab some food that a neighbor had cooked on the grill. All the other Princesses slipped into the cars and headed home, leaving these two together alone again before we rounded them up and headed home too.
We had all the competing Princesses come out to the challenge corner and settle in front of their easel.
Merida seemed to be having trouble deciding what to paint at first while everyone else went straight into work on their paintings.
“I don’t know what happened, but what I do know is that my painting was the most beautiful of all the girls. I’m proud of the work I did on it. And if that means I have to go to the elimination compound, then that’s what it means.”
“I don’t know why she had to single me out to tell me that. I get the point of this competition. I know we all have to date him and spend time with him. She should put that fire into earning a date instead.”
“You have no idea how lonely it’s been down here by myself. I’m so gland that I have someone to spend my time with now. I can’t wait to get to know Aurora better.” 
Deciding it wasn’t for her, Mulan wandered back up for some yoga while Ariel came down for a quick chat with Elsa before her planned morning swim. It seems Ariel likes to swim most mornings.
Meanwhile, our Prince started today like he starts almost every day – but specifically special days – by cooking everyone in the house breakfast. All the girls have actually started to wait fro him to come down and cook for them now days, leaving little to no left overs by lunch.
“I like knowing that on competition days, be they for Solo Dates or Elimination, that the girls are well fed and ready for the challenge.”
We were sure that Ariel would be a shoe in for this challenge, because she does yoga almost every day, but alas, she was the first Princess to stand up. It shocked us all.
Mulan was third to stand up, again, another front runner since she spend a good deal of time in the exercise room. And Merida followed shortly after, which meant that our winner for the solo date is…
The first time they stood up from the couch they were snuggled at was for their first kiss. Elsa couldn’t resist and just leaned up to plan one on him. We think our Prince actually swooned a little bit.
Of course, after the kiss they were right back on the couch talking and sharing things about their past with each other. It’s incredibly cute to watch these girls on their first dates, because there’s so much actual talking going on because they haven’t had much alone time with him before.
The two did take a swim near the end of the date, but even then they didn’t swim long before they were back to snuggling just on the edge of the pool this time.
We’d call that a very successful date, if we do say so ourselves.
“I was trying to back Jasmine up. We all get that on solo date nights kisses and affections will be shared, but I think with two girls already deeply in love with him, and now a third with Elsa, that maybe he shouldn’t be kissing anyone in front of the rest of us anymore. It’s kind of rude, since we’re all trying to win his heart. Every one of us is invested romantically in this, even if we haven’t grown enough to be able to kiss him too.” 
Nick made sure to spend some time with Aurora and Elsa as he ate a pastry from the case at the register. They certainly had a nice little chat over food.
“I don’t mind that he invited Mulan over to the table with us. She’s a nice girl, and she’s one of the few that didn’t really gang up on me after the first group date. She mostly stayed out of it. If I had to compete with anyone for the Prince, I would want it to be her.” 
Nick ended the group date by spending a little time with Jasmine, who was stuck in her bathing suit, and Elsa. Aurora even decided to join them at the table to get in on some quality time with the Prince herself.
So far, we certainly have an interesting competition going. Jasmine and Ariel already have wonderful relationships with the Prince, though he seems to be a little bored of Jasmine’s need to cling to him. And he’s growing some good friendships with Mulan and Elsa, with Aurora hedging in just a little as she can. Who will win the next solo date? We’re sure curious to find out! The Prince must of sensed something was bringing her down, or he saw her face and isn’t a complete knucklehead. Because after a lot of the Princesses wandered to prepare themselves for the challenge, he sat down with Ariel to try and talk to her about it all.
Elsa came in just in the nick of time. Finishing fourth and securing her save to stay in the mansion.
Sadly that means that Cinderella is the first Princess to move from the mansion to the elimination area below the house.
“Who knew that this machine was so fun! I can’t believe they didn’t give us one of these upstairs!” 
After some music, once the other Princesses had made their way to the kitchen to grab a little more breakfast, or wandered off to entertain themselves, Ariel and Nick found themselves flirting on the couch in the movie room. One does have to admit that they make a cute couple.
“It’s no’ tha’I want ta go home, of course I don’. But it’s hard ta stomach tha’ Ariel is walking ’round here like she’s already in tha’ wedding dress. This competition ‘as barely ev’n started. She’s also talkin’ like she’s gonna get tha’ solo date. Which, most o’ the other girls are plannin’ ta keep ‘er from gettin’. She’s already set t’e whole house against her.” 
We were going to leave this episode there, but we snagged just a little bit of extra footage from when the couple made it home to the house. Apparently, we’re told that the producers had to step in because Ariel had lured Nick up to Aurora’s room where the only closet stood.
“Who knew that the place would be so fantastic. They really went all out to rent a spectacular mansion for this show. I can’t wait to settle into it. And have you seen my suite? I could practically live in there and never come out. If it had a fridge anyway.” 
It doesn’t seem like Aurora here wants to get too close to the Prince just yet. Maybe after a small bit of time, she’ll warm up to him.
Cinderella seems to be excited to see our Prince, making sure to get closer to him.
Ariel seems excited, but at the same time, a little stand off-ish as she’s making sure to leave some distance between them.
Mulan seems a little reserved with the Prince, but we’ve heard that she’s a pretty quiet girl.
And settle they did. A group of them settled in the tv room and started to get to know each other. It seemed like they were having quite a good time of it too.
“How was I supposed to know that paper towel next to the stove was flammable? It wasn’t my fault. Maybe the producers should just have the place catered from now on.” 
“I don’t know what everyone was making faces at, I think they tasted just fine. Nick made them, and that made them all the best to try.” 
“Cinderella and I were just enjoying the warm day. We had no idea something warmer had happened in the kitchen. Can’t two girls just hang out together and it not be for some secret deal?”
And poor Ariel, who had helped to put the Prince out, slipped off to the yoga mat to calm her nerves after her meal.
Ariel, after calming down, took it upon herself to clean up after the other Princesses. We didn’t know it before, but apparently having servants to do most things for them have left them fairly like slob like in nature, leaving plates and glasses all around.
And Cinderella chose to cheer Nick on as he practiced at the Don’t Wake the Llama table. He did pretty good there too, from what we saw. 
Everyone eventually settled into their beds, getting a good nights sleep so they could be ready for the next day. The Princes, naturally, settled into his bed alone. And it seemed that Aurora, Mulan, and Merida were the lucky three to snag rooms for themselves. Ariel and Cinderella ended up being room mates, and Jasmine settled into the room with Elsa. Apparently she really is looking to keep an eye on Elsa.
The Prince started his day with a quick swim, before headed inside to make scrambled eggs, giving the other Princesses in the house the option of sweets or protein for breakfast.
And the girls were mixed in what they decided to eat. But it was clear, that all had a very enjoyable breakfast.
After getting a good deal of swimming in, they just settled at a corner of the pool and had a nice, long group chat. So far, everyone seems to be getting along reasonably well.
But once some plates of food were grabbed, everyone was right back to settling and talking. They even had a few neighborhood people settle in on the side of the pool with them to talk.
The day widdled down, and after a long day of swimming, Ariel and the Prince ended up cloud gazing and talking, really getting to know each other as the other girls continued talking and swimming.
It seems they were really going to miss out, because as everyone headed back to the cars to head back home, the Prince and Ariel were the last to get up and head over, and the Prince had something in mind to steal before they got back onto the bus.
“I didn’t even know it was coming, he just leaned in and kissed me. I knew we were getting along well, but it makes my heart flutter to know that he’s already falling for me. I’m so excited to see where this new relationship will go!” 
As we walk in the front door, you can see we have the grand staircase that leads up to the second floor. To the left of the staircase is a little book nook where the Princesses can read and just sit to chat and enjoy themselves. Right next to the windows where they’ll have a lot of natural light.
If we continue to the left, past the bookcases, we’ll fine the kitchen and the music room. The music room has been set up with a dance floor for parties, as well as instruments for them to learn and play with.
The kitchen itself is set up for far more people than just the eight residence of the house. Parties would be amazing in this place. But we wanted this place to be more than ready for anything they needed during the competitions. As well, the kitchen has been decked out with an ice cream maker, popcorn maker, coffee pot, and tea maker.
If we take a right at the stairs and pass the game area, we’ll find the movie room. There are painting easels set up in front of the windows of this room, to inspire the girls to paint a little more. And we have a few comfy couches set up in front of the movie screen. The girls can watch movies or tvs on this beautiful screen.
Even after they’re eliminated from the competition, the Princesses won’t go home. They’ll go to an underground suite where they’ll wait for the competition to be over. The producers haven’t said yet if at some point eliminated Princesses will be able to come back or not, but we certainly wanted to make sure they had nearly all the amenities from the house.
