Hello all you watchers, and welcome to the very first, official episode of The Charming Bachelor! I’m your host, Nora Radberry, and I will be on this exciting journey as we watch seven hopeful princesses try to win the heart of one very charming bachelor.
The Prince arrived at the house first, and was able to get a quick look at it before our hopefuls arrived.
“Who knew that the place would be so fantastic. They really went all out to rent a spectacular mansion for this show. I can’t wait to settle into it. And have you seen my suite? I could practically live in there and never come out. If it had a fridge anyway.”
Right he is. The suite is packed with almost anything the Prince might need on his stay. And I’ve been told that the door is specially locked, so none of the Princesses can slip into his room while the crew is sleeping.
It looks like the first of the Princesses has arrived. Let’s check out how the welcomes are going.
It doesn’t seem like Aurora here wants to get too close to the Prince just yet. Maybe after a small bit of time, she’ll warm up to him.
“It’s not that I wasn’t warming up to him. I’ve just been hurt in the past, and while I do want this, I don’t want to put my heart into it from the very beginning, you know?”
Cinderella seems to be excited to see our Prince, making sure to get closer to him.
Ariel seems excited, but at the same time, a little stand off-ish as she’s making sure to leave some distance between them.
Mulan seems a little reserved with the Prince, but we’ve heard that she’s a pretty quiet girl.
For as interested as Jasmine seemed to be, trying to skip ahead of some of the other Princesses for meeting our Prince, she doesn’t seem too impressed with him upon first meeting.
Merida seems excited and happy to meet our prince. I heard form some of the other Princesses that Merida chattered about meeting him almost the whole car ride out to the mansion.
And last, but certainly not the least is our Princess Elsa. She’s a little frosty, but we’ve been told that give her some time and she’ll warm right up to the Prince. And it appears that for as unimpressed with the Prince as she was, Jasmine doesn’t want to let him out of her sight.
“I know that this is a big deal, and just because I want to get to know him doesn’t mean that I have to jump right into smiles. That Prince is mine, mark my words. I’ll win his heart, and no snow queen is going to steal him from me.”
This certainly will be interesting. After being greeted by the Prince, they were told to go ahead and get settled in the house.
And settle they did. A group of them settled in the tv room and started to get to know each other. It seemed like they were having quite a good time of it too.
“All th’ girls ‘ere seem really nice. I can’no wait t’really get t’know’em. I can see us leavin’ere with some great friends.”
Some of the girls are extremely optimistic about how things will play out here.
Not everyone wanted to settle and talk though. Elsa settled at the Don’t Wake the Llama table, and Jasmine called Ariel over so the three could play. Considering she’s trying to keep her eye on Elsa, we’re not entirely sure it’s just to get to know the Ice Queen.
Mean while, Nick tried to be kind and make everyone in the house a plate of Grilled Cheese. Unfortunately, something went horribly wrong and he ended up setting the stove, and himself on fire. Luckily Merida and Ariel were around to help put him out.
He wasn’t exactly too happy after.
“How was I supposed to know that paper towel next to the stove was flammable? It wasn’t my fault. Maybe the producers should just have the place catered from now on.”
Sorry, Nick, but that’s not going to happen. We’re sure those watching find you far too cute all soot covered and pouting, to let you off the hook that easily.
Most of the Princesses came to the kitchen after Nick huffed his way upstairs. The grilled cheese didn’t exactly come out of it unscathed though, if Elsa’s face is any indication.
“They were alright, you know, but you could tell they had been near the center of a fire. But the Prince made them for us, so I think we all felt like we had to show him we appreciated his effort to make us something to eat.”
“I don’t know what everyone was making faces at, I think they tasted just fine. Nick made them, and that made them all the best to try.”
Two different views, from two different Princesses. I’d chime in with who was right, but I wasn’t able to snag a sample of the grilled cheese in question.
While most of the Princesses were eating, two very suspicious Princesses were taking advantage of the quiet back yard. Do I smell an alliance of the blondes coming? They certainly look very chummy out by the pool.
“Cinderella and I were just enjoying the warm day. We had no idea something warmer had happened in the kitchen. Can’t two girls just hang out together and it not be for some secret deal?”
We’re not sure, Aurora, we’re not sure. But we’ll definitely try to keep our eyes on you for the time being.
While the girls were trying to eat their meal, the Prince had made his way up into his suite for a bath to calm his nerves and remove all that soot. It looks like it definitely helped too.
And poor Ariel, who had helped to put the Prince out, slipped off to the yoga mat to calm her nerves after her meal.
“After the fire, I was just so stressed out. So I wanted to try and center myself. Normally I do that with swimming, but because Aurora and Cinderella were out by the pool chatting, and I didn’t want any company, I went for the only quiet place I could find. It was very relaxing, actually.”
And after her meal, Jasmine seems to have a green thumb, because she took to the bonsai tree quickly.
Ariel, after calming down, took it upon herself to clean up after the other Princesses. We didn’t know it before, but apparently having servants to do most things for them have left them fairly like slob like in nature, leaving plates and glasses all around.
And Cinderella chose to cheer Nick on as he practiced at the Don’t Wake the Llama table. He did pretty good there too, from what we saw. Everyone eventually settled into their beds, getting a good nights sleep so they could be ready for the next day. The Princes, naturally, settled into his bed alone. And it seemed that Aurora, Mulan, and Merida were the lucky three to snag rooms for themselves. Ariel and Cinderella ended up being room mates, and Jasmine settled into the room with Elsa. Apparently she really is looking to keep an eye on Elsa.
Everyone knew that it would be a group date day, so there was no worry, and everyone seemed fairly relaxed heading into the start. Elsa started off her day making mint chocolate chip ice cream for breakfast.
The Prince started his day with a quick swim, before headed inside to make scrambled eggs, giving the other Princesses in the house the option of sweets or protein for breakfast.
And the girls were mixed in what they decided to eat. But it was clear, that all had a very enjoyable breakfast.
Today’s group date is going down at this beautiful swimming park. The place is open, sunny, and we thought everyone would love to just get out and enjoy themselves today.
It didn’t take our group all that long to settle into one of the pools and enjoy themselves as they relaxed. The Prince even decided to show off some moves.
After getting a good deal of swimming in, they just settled at a corner of the pool and had a nice, long group chat. So far, everyone seems to be getting along reasonably well.
On his way to grab a bite from the grills, the Prince paused to play in the fountain for a moment. I think he was really enjoying this lovely day out with all the beautiful woman.
But once some plates of food were grabbed, everyone was right back to settling and talking. They even had a few neighborhood people settle in on the side of the pool with them to talk.
The day widdled down, and after a long day of swimming, Ariel and the Prince ended up cloud gazing and talking, really getting to know each other as the other girls continued talking and swimming.
It seems they were really going to miss out, because as everyone headed back to the cars to head back home, the Prince and Ariel were the last to get up and head over, and the Prince had something in mind to steal before they got back onto the bus.
“I didn’t even know it was coming, he just leaned in and kissed me. I knew we were getting along well, but it makes my heart flutter to know that he’s already falling for me. I’m so excited to see where this new relationship will go!”
“I couldn’t help myself. She was just standing there looking cute, and all the rest of the girls were back in the cars. I just took a chance. I know it’s early, there’s still a lot of dates to go on, and get through, but, there’s no rules against starting early, right? And who am I to stop the feelings that were budding while we just laid there talking and getting to know each other!”
Well, we certainly didn’t see that kiss coming. Or at least I didn’t. Did you? Let us know how you feel about this surprise event before the competition has even really heated up. Do you have a favorite Princess already? We’d love to find out! Make sure to tell us. I’m your host, Nora Radberry, and this has been the first episode of The Charming Bachelor.
